National Fitness Awards 2026
Entries are now open for the National Fitness Awards 2026.
Across the Independent Gyms network, we see brilliant facilities, inspiring teams and incredible member stories every day. However, we also know that independent gym owners are often so busy running their businesses that they do not take the time to shout about what they have achieved. This is your opportunity to change that.
The National Fitness Awards celebrate the very best of the UK fitness industry, with categories including:
- Regional Gym of the Year
- Boutique Facility of the Year
- Functional Training Gym of the Year
- Hybrid Training Gym of the Year
- Strength Training Gym of the Year
- Gym Team of the Year
- Gym Innovation of the Year
- Community Involvement
- Member Achievement Award
- Personal Trainer of the Year
- Newcomer of the Year
You can nominate your own gym, team, members or individuals, and each organisation can enter up to two categories. The winners will be announced at the National Fitness Awards ceremony on Friday 27th November at The Athena in Leicester.
Independent Gyms are proud to be supporting this year’s awards and encouraging more independent operators from our network to put themselves forward. We will also be sponsoring the Heroes’ Breakfast, providing midnight bacon rolls for everyone still standing, celebrating and making the most of the evening.
